 When life gets busy, it is sometimes hard to keep up ones own creative practice. For many years now I have fostered creativity, passion, and technical expertise in my students and raised a family...which I adore, but 2018 is about me, not selfishly...well maybe a little. Setting the goal of working in my studio every day has resulted in five finished paintings in January, more in progress and more canvases in various stages of stretching and priming. Sometimes it is the small goals that help you reach the big ones. |
